After the magic of the Orient Express, the Burj al Arab extravaganza and a couple of Michelin starred restaurants such as the Grand Hôtel Park in Gstaad and the Hotel de Ville in Crissier, Michele Caimotto now runs his own sommelier and consulting firm winerose.ch. He is familiar with the best wines and terroirs of old Europe and Swiss wines hold a particular place in his heart.
The workshop will be held in a separate smaller room. The number of seats is 9-12, therefore we will charge a small fee (£ 20) to secure your seat and in exchange we give you a bottle of Swiss wine worth £ 50 (Alpine Wines) on location. Should you not attend your registration will be lost.
The first class will be held at 1 PM sharp, please come to 67 Pall Mall 15 minutes earlier. Duration 1 hour.
The second class will be held at 4 PM sharp, please come to 67 Pall Mall 15 minutes earlier. Duration 1 hour.
During the past two years our masterclasses were dedicated to introducing Swiss vineyards and wines to a British audience. This year we are stepping up and are taking the challenge of showing how Swiss wines from two international grapes: Syrah and Savagnin blanc perform in a competitive international environment.
The 1 PM masterclass will be dedicated to Syrah
The 4 PM masterclass will be dedicated to Savagnin blanc also called Paien or Heida in Switzerland.
